Desireé Cotto-Figueroa, an Associate Professor from the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao (UPRH) Department of Physics and Electronics has just tweeted amazing footage of a meteor over Puerto Rico, saying “Meteor just observed in #PuertoRico. Everyone who saw it please report it here.”
Cotto-Figueroa actually retweeted @LouisVtweeter’s tweet, which you can see below. He posted the footage saying “I was here admiring the view, taking photos as usual and shooting a photo, thank God it was a live photo and captured this meteorite”.
Reportedly, the fireball of the meteor was seen from Cayey, Condado, Caguas, Guaynabo and other parts of Puerto Rico.
